“There is a natural rhythm within us, always moving toward balance. Healing begins when we soften enough to trust its flow.”
— Emily Mason
What is Polarity Therapy?
Polarity Therapy is a gentle, holistic healing practice that supports the body, mind, and nervous system through intentional touch, energetic awareness, movement, and compassionate presence.
This work helps restore balance in the body’s natural energy flow, creating space for deep rest, emotional release, clarity, and healing.
Clients often seek Polarity Therapy for:
Nervous system regulation
Stress and anxiety relief
Emotional healing
Chronic tension or pain
Burnout and fatigue
Trauma support
Reconnection with self and vitality
Each session is unique and guided by what your body needs in the moment.
A Holistic Approach
Polarity Therapy was developed by Dr. Randolph Stone and blends Eastern and Western healing philosophies into an integrative approach to wellness.
Rather than “fixing” the body, this work supports your body’s innate wisdom and natural ability to heal and return to balance
My Training & Practice
My work is rooted in the Polarity Therapy tradition and shaped by years of studying the relationship between the body, nervous system, energy, and embodied experience.
I will complete the Registered Polarity Practitioner (RPP) program at the Tree of Life Center in Hillsborough, North Carolina in October 2026, I have studied under the wise and deeply respected guidance of Janice Marie Durand.
This training has given me a strong foundation in the principles and practices of Polarity Therapy, while continuing to deepen my own understanding of the body as an intelligent, interconnected system.
I am currently continuing along the path toward BCPP — Board Certified Polarity Practitioner certification, deepening my studies and clinical experience as I continue to grow in this work.
My practice continues to evolve through ongoing education, hands-on experience, and a deep respect for the uniqueness of every person who enters my space.
Session Investment
Polarity Therapy is the heart of my practice, and every session is guided by the wisdom of your body. As a Reiki Level II Practitioner, I may intuitively weave Reiki into your session whenever it feels supportive to your healing process. Rather than choosing between different modalities, you can simply arrive as you are, trusting that your session will unfold in the way your body and nervous system need most. Polarity Therapy sessions are intentionally spacious, allowing time for conversation, hands-on work, integration, and whatever your body may need that day.
Individual Sessions
60 minutes — $110
90 minutes — $150
120 minutes — $200
Your first session is intentionally a little longer. Regardless of the session length you choose, your first appointment includes additional time to get to know you, explore your history and intentions, answer questions, and introduce you to Polarity Therapy. This additional time is included at no extra charge.
Packages
For those who feel called to deeper, ongoing work, packages offer continuity and savings while creating a dedicated container for your healing journey.
Package clients also receive between-session support and personalized practices to help integrate the work into everyday life.

Polarity Therapy honors the connection between body, mind, and spirit, but it does not require any specific spiritual belief system or practice.
Some clients experience sessions as deeply grounding and restorative, while others feel an emotional or spiritual connection through the work. Your experience is entirely your own, and all beliefs and backgrounds are welcome.

Polarity Therapy can be a supportive complement to trauma healing by helping calm the nervous system, increase body awareness, and create a greater sense of safety and grounding within the body.
This work is gentle, client-led, and focused on meeting you where you are. Many people find it helpful alongside therapy, counseling, or other healing modalities as part of a holistic approach to healing and self-reconnection.
-
Every session is different. Some clients enjoy sharing what they are feeling or moving through, while others prefer quiet rest and stillness.
There is never pressure to talk more than feels comfortable. I gently follow your needs and create a space where you can simply relax, breathe, and listen to your body.
At the same time, communication can be an important part of the process. Sharing what you are noticing physically, emotionally, or energetically can help bring awareness to areas where energy may feel stuck, blocked, or ready to shift. Together, we listen to what your body is communicating in the moment.

Polarity Therapy and Reiki are both gentle, energy-based practices, but they approach the body in different ways.
Polarity Therapy is a hands-on somatic practice that works with the body’s energetic patterns and relationship to the nervous system. Through gentle touch, movement, and awareness, a session supports relaxation, balance, and a greater sense of connection within the body.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice in which the practitioner gently places their hands on or above the body, allowing energy to flow where it is needed. It can be deeply calming and supportive of relaxation and inner stillness.
In my practice, Reiki can be offered as a standalone session or gently woven into Polarity Therapy, creating a personalized experience based on what your body and nervous system are asking for.
Polarity Therapy supports nervous system regulation and helps the body shift out of stress and into deeper states of rest, balance, and healing.
“I am very pleased with my sessions with Emily! She is very patient, knowledgeable, and insightful! I had never done polarity previously, but Emily is very approachable, answered my questions, and put me at ease. I truly appreciate her aftercare recommendations and how they tied into progression of the sessions. If you are even considering polarity, definitely give Emily a chance!”
